Yeah I wansnt suggesting that Hallucinogens are the only way to get into a trance state. I saw a really good show a few years ago about the effects of fasting followed by strenuous dancing which is still used in parts of South America. The presenter/ researched types were in a right state! Visited by spirits and terrified! I will try to find out what the show was called (My memory is terrible!)
