Well the English Heritage Inspectors have been, apparently it will take a few weeks for them to decide! hopefully work on the road should be halted during that period.....

Well that, at least, is something. Covering it over was ready designed and scheduled for early July, smooth as a nut, until the public got to hear about it and started their ignorant grumbling. And lo and behold it turns out EH HADN'T been requested to even CONSIDER Scheduling it (that's been officially admitted) but now they have.
