We had planned 6 months touring sites in Europe this summer (in our trusty old VW camper); the ideal route was scuppered at the first point though when our plan of going up to Orkney and across to Norway was made impossible by the fact that there aren't any crossings - grrrr! Seemed like the most logical of routes to little old me at the time....

Are there no crossings at all up there ?
Shetland ,Inverness or Aberdeen
