What's going on in Ireland, about building a motorway near the Hill of Tara, is quite dreadful, and worth highlighting again.

There's something about the Irish, lots of them have the ability to use words with huge power.
Two recent quotes about the controversy, quite different, but both superb:

"We are calling on the academic community, and all members of the community at large, who have been far too complacent on this matter, to step up to the place. It is time to draw the line in the sand, before we disgrace ourselves completely, in the eyes of the civilized world.

These people are traitors to the Irish Republic. They sell out the Irish Environment and Heritage for personal profit and power. They pass laws that are breaches of the Irish Constitution. They are contemptuous low-lives.
