Hi Clint

The North Inn at Pendeen! hope you have a beard!. Have you seen Straw Dogs?
Only kidding, my partner and her Italian friends stayed there a couple of summers back, nothing fancy but comfortable.
Tis a proper Cornish pub full of ex tin miners. Make sure you ave a pasty while yer down.
Ok, it's gonna take you at least 6hrs from Heathrow to reach Pendeen, no viewing of sites that evening unless you drive to St JUst and find your way out to Carn Gluze. It is a great place to watch the sun set.

Next day...as Moth says there is sooooooo much! Men an Tol is an easy walk from the car as are the Merry Maidens and the Pipers near St Buryan.
Lanyon Quoit is right beside the road. Most other sites require a bit of a trek.

Have a look at my weblog "The Quoits of Penwith", you may get some inspiration.

St Michaels Mount is great...but then so much down here is, I would have been inclined to have spent 2 nights in Cornwall and 1 in Totnes. Nothing to do with being biased but there is more to see TMA wise in Cornwall than on Dartmoor.

If you need any more info on Cornwall just ask for Mr Hamhead

Cheers
