Ric, we don't hassle anyone - we do it ourselves. We get arrested of course but that's no big deal - in these cases it's usually a summary appearance before the local magistrate and a minor fine which I'm sure enough people in here would help us to pay (and which should rule us out of jury service for the rest of our lives ;-). Meanwhile, we get plenty of media coverage which brings the issue (the re-erection of the Avebury Circle) into common debate.

Believe me, it's not a question of committees, committee minuets, ifs, buts and Mike Pitts' well-intended intentions over the erection of a single stone - it's a question of restoring what's left of the whole circle and the avenues leading to it (and of course dealing with the traffic problem).
