I've just finished reading it and I'd say its well worth a look, though you should understand that he's trying to prove that the pre-Christian people of Britain were good honest Christians, really, at least as Christian as you can be before Jesus! He's very imaginative, and his pictures are wonderful, always featuring little men with swords!

Pete G has a CD for sale with the Avebury book on it (not sure of the web address but I'm certain someone here can oblige), but I still can't afford it! : (
