Israel Nash
Silver Season
Israel Nash (from the Ozark Mountains in Missouri) moved to New York City to make a name for himself as a musician but it was his move to Dripping Springs (in the Hill Country of Texas) in 2011 which transformed him. He and his bandmates built a home studio and began to craft fuller, more textured soundscapes.
His newest album, Silver Season, is in the direct lineage of Neil Young. Yet it is an entirely fresh and invigorating sound. Imagine if Neil Young had recorded Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, After the Gold Rush, Harvest, and On The Beach in a much more psychedelic and spacey vein.
The child of this creation would be Israel Nash’s Silver Season.
Every song is layered with exquisite pedal steel and epic, swelling melodies.
An awe-inspiring classic of cosmic Americana.
