I saw a recent reunion of Pere Ubu, nostalgic yet uninspired. Rocket From The Tombs opened up and tore the house down with their versions of 30 Seconds Over Tokyo, Final Solution and Sonic Reducer. Peter Thomas said this will be the only time RFTT will play because they have broken up five times in the previous week. At last years ATP in LA the Stooges(sans Pop) were an excellent sight to behold and the guest singers (Kim Gordon, Thurston Moore, Eddie Vedder and Queens of the Stone Age guy) were an added attraction. Reunions are a dicey situation, its not like your seeing Tom Jones, some of these performers are still vital.
