Peace Not War have assembled an Alliance of Alternative Artists for a Triple AAA side single for the protest vote, under the title 'SALT In The Wound', for release on Jungle Records. There's CARPET BOMBERS FOR PEACE which features ex-Dead Kennedys' frontman Jello Biafra as The Cowboy President From Hell, with other musicians (perhaps including members of a band well known for throwing buckets of water at politicians!) singing 'Allah Save Queens'. Plus Australian anti-war campaigners CHANGE produced by Crass, with their 'Ceasefire' song. And long established activist punk band CONFLICT contribute a suitable tirade in their new track 'A Gaping Hole'.
All the artists are well-known for campaigning against establishment hypocrisy. All profits will go to the Stop The War coalition.
