Revolutionary Suicide – Julian Cope
I finally got round to listening to latest Cope notes cd the other night. Wow! As someone who was gutted when the Teardrops split and then excited when Cope finally announced his debut solo set this period has a special place in my heart. The demo versions are great. The arrangements were already fully realised and basically just needed re-doing in a posh studio. As for Revolutionary Suicide...well I reckon In His Cups is one of Julian's finest ever moments.
