An update two years later. I've managed to find many missing AD reviews, which were subsequently added to discogs by others, or I've tracked down and added myself. A few were confusing as the title and cover used by JC was different to the finished product.

In the end, there are only 5 mystery albums which I have no clue as to how to find.

https://www.discogs.com/lists/Julian-Copes-Address-Drudion-Reviews-April-2006-to-March-2014/310278

April 2006ce: Shiva's Tongue - High Andean Full Moon Trips (Not On Label)
April 2006ce: Underground K(no)w One - Net The Serf (Not On Label)
August 2006ce: V/A - All Night Rainbow Show (Ain't Group Sounds)
August 2009ce: Astral Transportation - Wave On (Not On Label)
December 2012ce: Hörde - Configuration (Not On Label)

The two from the very first AD review way back in April 2006 might have been just some promo copies slung to HH.

The Ain't Group Sounds one is frustrating, as this was a (semi) legit release, and I own 3 other things from this label, but the website is long since 808, and even the waybackmachine has no reference to it. My memory tells me (when I visited the page back in 2006) there were 6 of these AGS releases. Three listed here (https://www.discogs.com/label/95319-Aint-Group-Sounds), one is the Rainbow Show, and one is a Strawberry Path demos cdr. The 6th one is a mystery, and I can find no other reference to the Rainbow Show cdr.

The last two are probably promo cdrs, both of which Cope admits to not knowing anything else about.

If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of these missing albums, please reply here.*

*Meant to be read in the Unsolved Mysteries, Robert Stack voice.

10 Years On: Address Drudion Reviews Still Paying Off

Almost 10 years since JC stopped the AD cold turkey, but thanks to my discogs list, I've been steadily buying a ton more of these underground jewels.

I must say, the diversity of genres and styles he chose to review is quite refreshing. I'm going in blind for most of these and I'm yet to be disapointed. Just when you think its going to be another heathen folk dirge, its something entirely different.

The goal eventually is to own everyone in physical form, which is madness, but I'm over halfway there and prices are staying somewhat reasonable.

NP: Where The Moon Came From - Twin of Pangaea, which is a fucking slay fest with a million melodic left turns and some tried and true vocal efforts (reminds me of Ben Folds fronting Fugazi at their sweetest). I was expecting a synth drone.

And everyone raves about Om, but Grails is ferking deadly dudes.

So many of these are available via the artists bandcamp, a little sleuthing has done me good. Kind of nice to be able to buy direct from the artist.

Hope more of you can benefit from my obsessive hobbies.
