Squid Tempest wrote: Some great stuff in that list. I'm off to dig out some Peter Hammill :) I do like to indulge in some Hammill from time to time. Got into him when I was c. 15 years old. I didn't realise at the time how much of an influence he was at the time on the likes of John Lydon, Copey etc... I was going through a prog rock phase at the time - the Marillion influence was obvious ("The game is 'Over' ...") and tried to write my version of 'Plague Of Lighthouse Keepers'. But retrospectively I realise how much an influence he was, I mean 'Nadir's Big Chance' is total prototype punk! Did go to see him in the mid eighties - just him and a piano (Mitchell Library, Glasgow) and then the VDGG reunion in 2005. Never thought I'd see the day... God bless his cotton socks!

I second that, especially if it is a fantastic location like the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

I've got seats right down the front, too!! There's a remote possibility that me and my attorney will be mildly... er, prepared.

We still have to settle the books. He got the flights, but so far I've got the apartment and the gig tickets. He on the other hand will be hiring the electric cattle prod and the pulleys and winch equipment.
