That's a good thing as they're just not appreciated...I'd concur "without McGeoch..." but Play was great without him. & sadly he's departed so would have to be replaced... I saw Barry of Adamson in a boat in Bristol and he played Thank You (fallentime...) at the end of his set - surely an allusion to Magazine? It would be good for them to represent that material once again...it's a fine back-catalogue and maybe once we should all be reminded? I liked the Gang of Four when they reformed, despite the fact everyone's reforming. What would be the dream set list if they're not playing anything new? Mine would be something like: *Feed the Enemy *My Tupla *Give Me Everything *About the Weather *Because You're Frightened *Twenty Years Ago *Back to Nature *Motorcade *Parade *Model Worker *TV Baby *Definitive Gaze *A Song from Under the Floorboards *Permafrost. encore: *Rhythm of Cruelty *Shot By Both Sides 2nd encore: *Philadelphia *The Light Pours Out of Me *either Boredom or I Love You Big Dummy or Touch and Go????

I was lucky enough to see Magazine back in '78 (Malvern Winter gardens, supported by Simple Minds) and they were the dogs nads. I'd give my right arm to catch 'em this time around though. You can bet yer bloody life they won't be coming to Florida.....

And it's true I can't find any substantial evidence to back it up but I do sincerely trust the person who told me (they know 'stuff'). Rang someone else who knows the right people who confirmed the confirmation. There's been rumblings for the last month but no dates. Leave it with me - I have another 'in'

This does appear to be gathering momentum I met a friend of mine who is an uber Buzzcocks fan - knows the band and various people etc..... She investigated this and got in touch with promoters - she had no definite news on the London gig but the Manchester one is definitely happening!!!!!

The Manchester Academy staff are being evasive about the gig when questioned but according to other sources its apparently going ahead. Never thought I'd see this one happening. 8)
