Lots of people recommending J-Kill, possiblt best to wait as it's getting the re-issue treatment - apparrently out sometime soon. Peggy's got a great variety and is up there with his best work, WSYM is fab as well. St. Julian is a great r'n'r album, I'd initially avoid My Nation and 20 mothers. If you like the more cosmic stuff definitely go for the Rite stuff. You can pick up alot of the unavailable stuff on e-bay.

FourWinds wrote: Peggy is equally as good as Jehovakill (if not better) (discuss) I think Peggy is stronger than Jkill in the sense that the tunes are stronger on their own. But Jehovakill is thematically more together, more coherent as a whole. They both are fantastic as Sister-Brother works, you might say.

To say they are all good is a bit of an over statement in my mind. Still haven't got into Interpreter or 20 Mothers (sorry Jules). Must haves... Peggy Suicide Skellington Chronicles Jehovahkill In some ways though, my fav is still the first one I ever heard and that was World Shut Your Mouth. Classic.

I agree with the opinion that the first exposure you had to a favourite artist is the one you love the most. I'll always like Autogedden the most as I had heard bits of Peggy from a friend and then went to see what I could find of him in the shop. They had Auto and Nation. I asked the guy behind the counter if he had any advice, and he said that Julian stopped doing acid in the late 80's. I took that to mean the music got better and I believe I was right. Although I don't care much for 20 Mothers or Interpreter either.
