Edgar Breau is the former singer/guitarist from the legendary

Revisited album, was reissued in North America on Sonic Unyon in an
expanded, remastered format on May 20, 2003 and is already starting

upcoming solo compilation album, tentatively set for release later in
2003 under the moniker Edgar Breau: Canadian Primitive, Essential
Recordings 1985-2003.

Select 2003 Simply Saucer press quotes

"Like a handful of other bands in Cleveland, New York, Detroit and
Munich, Simply Saucer drew together the wisps and wraiths of proto-
punk from the sixties. Against 1970s rock machismo and folk-rock
sanctimonies, they vomited up a prophetic blend of Velvets, Stooges,
MC5, Brian Eno-era Roxy Music, psychedelia and late-adolescent rec-
room nihilism, which a quarter-century later still smacks the ear
like a squawling newborn with a slight case of demonic possession."
Carl Wilson, The Globe And Mail, Toronto ON

"the most critically acclaimed rock group in Hamilton's history"
James Hayashi-Tennant, Hamilton Spectator, Hamilton ON

"this spastic, electro-shocked amalgam of Velveteen trance rock,
Stooges sleaze and unspooling early-Floydian weirdness — never
officially released until 1989 in the first place — is practically
fizzing with unchecked energy and leftfield invention, and still
sounds contemporary enough to be the work of some NME-endorsed hot
young things from New York's new school" Ben Rayner, Toronto Star,
Toronto ON

"one of the most mind-blowing great space-rock recordings" Tim
Perlich, Now Magazine, Toronto ON

"a shaky, shit-fi cosmic crash-test of abrasive guitar skronk,
amphetamine hustle and budgetronic UFO noise" Rupert Bottenberg,
Montreal Mirror, Montreal QC

"a classic of a classic from a classic band. It's a saucerful of
freakout secrets." Roman Sokal, Exclaim!, Toronto ON

"The mix of Syd Barrett-inspired melodies, Velvets' intensity,
Stooges' contempt and noise has inspired a generation of musicians."
Chris Burland, Chart Magazine, Toronto ON

"Cyborgs is true buried treasure, and those enamoured by the edgier
outpourings of NYC circa 2003 should hunt down a copy." Michael
Ornadet, Logo Magazine, London UK

"If this isn't the greatest Canadian rock record ever, then nothing
is." Richard Moule, Scene Magazine, London ON
