When I was at school I went out for a walk with me dad, we got to a little stream that we needed to cross, I saw there was a fallen tree across it so started off on that, fell off and got soaked to the waist in freezing brown water. Dad proceeded to cross the bridge that was only 10 yards further on, that I had completely failed to see, while I dragged myself out.
Character-building some might say. The problem is I could easily do exactly the same thing now (G/F might try to tell you that I have done similar things much more recently).
LOL. We should run a competition as to who's been the biggest idiot!!
