Ah! That'll be where the arrogance comes from then!

> the guy on the front gates with the gun wouldn't!

I'm surprised he hasn't shot you with your cocky attitude... You'd have thought a twitcher from Pewsey, Weird Wiltshire, would be a more personable type. I've got no excuse - I just can't abide rudeness!

Re: Hang on - how about this?

Green one,
The two tunnels and the central shaft all approximately meet at the same place, the centre.
There is collapsed shaft material below the polystyrene. It is anticipated that this will settle as the tunnels collapse further, leaving a void below the polystyrene of 1-2 metres.

EH's December article is here...
http://www.britarch.ac.uk/ba/ba80/feat1.shtml
and some scumbag amateurs have commented upon that here...

Or, for a slightly different but equally scumbag view, see VBB.

Yeah and all the lizard folk will cross from the higher dimension thru the Silbury tunnel and take over the WHS from EH & NT and thence the world....

Don't care what he believes as long as it doesn't involve swastikas, anti-semitism/anti-masonism and/or burying stuff on scheduled ancient monuments.

Vote Lizard you know it makes sense!

Re: Tilting the World: an open letter to Julian

I'll take your silence as a 'no' then Julian. So sad...

I saw the horses:
Hugh in the dense grey - ten together -
Megalith-still.They breathed, making no move,
With draped manes and tilted hind-hooves,
Making no sound.
I passed: not one snorted or jerked its head.
Grey silent fragments
Of a grey silent world.

Ted Hughes (1930 - )

So sad... Not one snorted to save Silbury. 'Grey silent fragments of a grey silent world.'

Quoted by another Hughes, in the times when there was no quango set between the people and the care of their monument -

The owld White Horse wants zettin to rights
And the Squire hev promised good cheer,
Zo we'll gee un a scrape to kip un in zhape,
And a'll last for many a year.

Fraid it's been pretty well established in the past that Julian doesn't read the boards, littlestone. :^(
And several peeps that know Julian well say that he doesn't even look at the site. :^(

Worth a try tho.... :^)

love
