Your man Dr Quine is the geezer who re-erected Blakeley Rise Circle in 1925 the circle is on the margin of Kinniside Common. I suspect that the Stockhow circle is probaby from the nearby Burn Moor complex on Stockdale Moor probably Low Longrigg, White Moss or Bratts Hill.
