I too used to associate trips to stone and trips to the country, but the urbanised sites have a certain charm about them. They add a magickal feel to the grey city streets. Coming across a sacred well hidden amongst the suburbs, or finding a lost stone in amongst the housing schemes is akin to being let in on some long forgotten secret. I agree with Moth re Huly Hill- I think I even mentioned it in my fields notes that I scrawled down when there- it's a survivor. God knows how it's still there when all around is McDonalds, petrol stations, motorways, airports etc.
