Um ..... we'll have to agree to differ on that.

I'm afraid there hasn't been a Wes Anderson film that I haven't thought was tedious in the extreme. Though it is true that none are as awful as those other phoney Art House efforts Sideways or The Savages. Making films that are so slow they wade in cinematic molases doesn't make you Eric Rohmer or Tarkovsky.

The Coen's do bugger all for me most of the time either so I must be really crap! Now, Paul Thomas Anderson - that's what I think of as a decent film maker. Punch Drunk Love being a perfect example of cinematic understatement that isn't just a "cool" mannerism.

Perhaps I am in a minority but when it comes to Owen Wilson and Bill Murray give me "What About Bob?" or "Zoolander" any day of the week.
