The year is 1968 and keyboard ace Freddy "Fingers" Lee is trying to start a one man Jerry Lee Lewis revival. His outfit At Last The 1958 Rock & Roll Show (try fitting that on a bass drum head) is ripe for the challenge. At Last is a crack rock and roll unit which features a young Ian Hunter on bass.

The group's lone 45 "I Can't Drive" is a lost rock and roll classic. It simply ignites as soon the the needle hits the wax. Freddy provides ace piano runs and also an in your face punk singing style, while the backing group pummel you into submission in the tradition of early Savoy Brown. This little 45 has balls of steel, and fans of the early Flamin' Groovies should track it down at once.

The flip is okay but nothing like the plug side.It took me ages to find this record but it was worth the struggle. So you can now add the name of Freddy "Fingers" Lee to the ongoing list of rock and roll GODS!!!!!!!!!!
