Has anyone got a copy of the Planetary Sit-In video? It seems to have fallen off the internet. Thanks!

Looking for it, I discovered the one uploaded nearly (gulp) a decade ago has been taken down: https://www.headheritage.co.uk/headtohead/unsung/topic/66013/threaded/836345 But -- THIS was uploaded today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRDSy7opfPk Julian and thighpaulsandra doing "I Come From Another Planet, Baby" at an HMV in-store up north and it's a right glambient mindfuck.

I dig the DX7 sounds, didn't know TPS used that one in the 90s. I found a TX81Z (rack version of the DX11) recently, still fumbling my way through its menus.

I guess a Mellotron 400 was just too heavy.

On a different note, I'm always so disappointed when I see a live band with what looks like a great synth setup, but they just play faux-Hammond B3, Rhodes and Juno sounds. C'mon people, reach for those stars.

It's on the Julian Cope & Teardrop Explodes - Gold The Videos DVD, if that's any help ( https://www.discogs.com/release/7996699-Julian-Cope--Teardrop-Explodes-Gold-The-Videos ).. It's chock-full of Copey video goodness, including lots of stuff not on the Copeulation VHS/DVD.

Ugh, since this got taken off the tube I can feel my consciousness plummeting. I do have it on a copy of the dvd but I really miss it being so easy to access.

But if you put the dead page on YouTube into way back machine and go back to the crawled 2012 link the video is there. Like I say not sure it’s a safe site so viewer beware. Did look a fun day was had by all!!!

Hmm... with that and the reported disappearance of Jehovakill from Apple streaming I wonder whether there's any movement on the projected solo Cope box-set ... Mr Roberts? Then again, this is more likely just me drawing an overly-hopeful straight line between two points and wondering whether there's an alignment. The Jehovakill thing could simply be temporary, contractual, or even an over-sensitive dumbass cancel-culture thing. Stuff disappears from the tube all the time.
