In order of release, rather than quality, but if I had to pick an overall favourite it would be a tie between Goat Girl and Sons of Kemet. If Mandrake Handshake had got around to releasing a full-length yet, they'd probably be up there too.

Goat Girl - On All Fours

Black Country New Road - For The First Time

Django Django - Glowing In The Dark

Dry Cleaning - New Long Leg

Squid - Bright Green Field

black midi - Cavalcade

Altin Gun - Yol

Jane Weaver - Flock

Map 71 - Belladonna Sunsets E.P.

Kit Sebastian - Melodi

Sons of Kemet - Black To The Future

The Mandrake Handshake - Monolith E.P.

Starry Eyed and Laughing - Bells Of Lightning

Thought Bubble - Around

Awww... Thanks. We made someone's list.

It took a long time to see daylight, given the extended lead-in times dictated by queues for the relatively small numbers of pressing plants. But, we still listen and love the album, all this time after putting it to bed.

This probably has to be one for my personal top ten:

Yeah, that Jah Wobble album’s great. The extra track ‘Public Image’ is a bit lame though, imo. I wish I hadn’t heard that one, actually

Ha Ha, yeah, know what you mean. TBH, knowing he worked with Bill Lazwell et al, I was hoping for a 'proper' dub version of Metal Box. Maybe that'll be next year. Still, I enjoyed it for what it is.
