I imagine this week's soundtracks thread will be quite busy? I hope everyone is ok!

Lots of Dungeon Synth this week:
Subterranean Prison - From The Depths In Which I Dwell
Elador - By The Pathways of Forgotten Legends
Fief - III
Fief - IV
DIM - Compendium I
Exclamavit - In The Shadow Of A Citadel (moody atmospheric ambient dungeon synth and my choice of listening when I went for a 6am walk yesterday morning to explore the local church graveyard)
Guild Of Lore - Wandering Tales
Apothecarium - Demo II
Secret Stairways - Enchantment Of The Ring (released on tape in 1997 I definitely consider this as one of the high water marks for the genre of Dungeon Synth)

Coffin Mulch - Demo (three tracks of pure old school death metal worship bringing to mind early Autopsy and Entombed great stuff!)

Eternal Champion - Terminus Est
Nick Grey - Thieves Among Thorns
Cluster - Sowiesoso
Magnum - Lost On The Road To Eternity
Witthüser Und Westrupp – Trips Und Träume

Richard Sinclair - RSVP (not heard this before but really quite enjoyed it)

It's a lovely, warm, record: exactly the kind of aural therapy needed to get through our current predicament. Sadly, it remains the last new music Richard has released under his own name, despite it being over a quarter of a century old. I guess (semi-?) retirement in the south of Italy suits him: I hope he's well and happy. Oh for a new album.

I've only given it one listen so far but I enjoyed it, kinda made me laugh how in the first song he goes on about not wanting to play music with a load of tricky chords etc (or something to that effect) then goes on to play a whole album's worth of material which isn't far off sounding like Hatfield and The North (and I mean that in the best possible way!)

Bob Dylan - Bringing It All Back Home
Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited

The Beatles - Help!
The Beatles - Rubber Soul
The Beatles - Eight Days A Week: Live At The Hollywood Bowl

Neu! - Neu!
Neu! - Neu! 2

Donovan - The Hurdy Gurdy Man
Donovan - Barabajagal

Vangelis - El Greco OST
Vangelis - Chariots Of Fire - The Play
Vangelis - Rosetta (Bit disappointed by this - the outer space theme should have inspired a return to his innovative use of electronics, but there is only a hint of this towards the end - too little too late. Still pleasant enough).
Vangelis - Nocturne (Another disappointing release, this works better with all the pointless self-cover versions excised, thematically at least. It still feels rather safe compared to his much more exciting music for Russell Maliphant's The Thread, which would mark a real return to form if released as an album in its own right)

David Bowie - Black Tie, White Noise
David Bowie - The Buddah Of Suburbia
David Bowie - 1.Outside (listening to Bowie's post-80s work for the first time, I was surprised how great 'Outside' is, a sprawling Diamond Dogs-esque concept album)

Tom Lehrer - That Was The Year That Was

Kate Bush - Aerial

Julian Cope - 20 Mothers

Spirogyra - St Radigunds

Far East Family Band - Nipponjin
