Is this not essentially like any Cope release in that it'll appear on the Merchandiser on the day it's released? I realise by Cope standards there is a bit more 'buzz' about this one - it's a 'proper' new song album rather than a project - but I suspect it'll pop up as normal tomorrow morning. The two songs we've heard sound pretty great. Looking forward to this one!

I selfishly hope this one's on iTunes... purely because I can't currently 'rip' the CD and take on the go because I've found myself between computers! Of course, as a physical format hoarder, I need it all, so I'll double dip. Question is, is this Cope's first album since 2013, or are we counting Drunken Songs and Skellington 3 and full lengthers?

CD/download only at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if a vinyl version comes out for Record Store Day again, as he did with Drunken Songs. Nice to see that the merchandiser has been made more mobile phone friendly too.
