Hey all... just spotted this.
Autogeddon is being reissued in a fancy box with STUFF!

Is Cope involved with this reissue in any way? It says it's 'remastered'.

I’d be down with getting the double CD. £65 seems a lot for what’s on offer.

Agreed. I have an original Autogeddon LP (a beautiful thing) and CD, and the Paranormal CD... and the two other songs on Floored Genius whichever-one-it-was. I'd be buying this for the box and the book. I don't see why it needed to be remastered either. The original CD and LP sound great to me. Still, the pathetic collector in me is tempted.

I'm tempted to go for the CD set. It was Autogeddon that convinced me to start buying CD's over vinyl after I got through 3 copies of it after scratching and jumping them playing them whilst pissed.
I've been listening to it a lot lately, still one of my favourite Cope albums. Not sure it needs a remaster but suppose will have to wait and hear the difference.

Autogeddon is one of my fav, fav, fav Cope albums, got it on tape, wore out 3 CD's (on the 4th) and have a cheapy second hand vinyl (scratched) so the thought of parting with £65 fer the privilege yet again is somewhat galling. Doesn't need a remaster, it was from the frickin' 90's FFS, not like it was a shitty studio sound or anything. What does the person remastering expect to 'bring out' of the mix? Maybe it'll be like those Doors anniversary releases, an actual different mix (though prob not). Sucker in me will prob fork fer the CD even though I have all the tracks already (and I'll hate myself for it, bloody sucker in me). Remember that shitty Jehovahkill remaster...hope it's not more of the same, louder! louder! louder!. This 'vinyl reprisal' really does take the bacon in terms of price fer stuff. To name another of Copes singles ...ahem, 'Propheteering' comes to time.

I'm not pre-ordering though, going to wait for a more official announcement. There's been a couple of unauthorised re-issues as of late which haven't been supported or authorised by the artists. Want to make sure before I part with funds.
