Yeah, it was always the 'lute and flute' stuff that put me off much of the genre too. Also dug out and love that Christophe F/ Black Sheep album 'Heathen Frontiers In Sound' alongside the David Wrench release. I Think of all the Black Sheep stuff it's those two that chime most with me.

Must admit, all the other versions of Digger Song sound weak compared to the Wrench/BS version. Even Chumbawamba had a go, and managed to make it too hey nonny nonny fer my ears.
