The Unreliable Witnesses (Grant Bale, Miss de Meaner and Barry Stir) played their version of "Treason" last week. An unusual covers band - Grant recites the lyrics of well known songs - the others improvise the music.
No song is ever aired twice. Even if a song is soundchecked - it doesn't make it to the main set.
The songs are only played live - no studio recordings.
No rehearsals.
Grant has no idea of the music that Miss de Meaner and Barry Stir will play - and they have no idea of the lyrics he will recite. Once they cotton on to what he is reading - they should not replicate the original tune.
Any mention of similarities to myself, Marina Young and Cos Chapman will be dealt with by the band's legal advisors - and more immediately be met with glowering stares and declaations of "FAKE NEWS".
