I know there's a few fellow Drake aficionados out there so I thought I'd flag up these titbits of info (and there is no functioning Drake forum these days so here will have to suffice)
Including the now-released Peel session, it seems there were four, not two BBC Nightride appearances in total featuring Nick:

The 24th Sept 1969 listing is, I'm pretty sure, previously unknown but, to my mind at least, was most probably a repeat of the Peel session from the previous month(?)
The 6th April 1971 show is very interesting as it both confirms Ian Cameron's participation and is not the April 13th 1970 listing which I think this session was assumed to be all these years. So it looks as though Drake recorded at least three, not two, BBC sessions.
But, of course, it's with a heavy sigh that I know these confirmations don't bring the prospect of any of the tapes being discovered any closer; I guess it does, at least, flesh out the Drake story a little more - rather like the revelation of his Granada TV appearance from 1970 did a few years back.
