I went to this and the Barbican gig the week after. They were both quite remarkable in different ways. Dublin was very emotional. But, London was a more blistering performance as Coughlan relaxed a bit (or relief it was nearly over?).
Much speculation on more (work or gigs), but i don't think anyone involved is labouring under the misbelief that this time they'd go platinum, or they can fill the Barbican on a regular basis.
Would love to see himself out in front of a band more, again. And, wouldn't say no to a Fatima Mansions nostalgia fix. Or Bubonique for that matter
