Main replays for this week, all from 2015:

Gang of Four - What Happens Next
Hard to accept as a Go4 album with no John King and with a succession of guest vocalists, but this has some good moments and is definitely not an attempt to retread old ground. Favourites for me "The Dying Rays", "Isle of Dogs" and "Where The Nightingale Sings".

FFS - FFS
Everything that you would want from a collaboration between Sparks and Franz Ferdindand, funny and very enjoyable, with the highlight the obviously ironic "Collaborations Don't Work".

Ghost Harmonic - Codex
On the subject of collaborations, this matches John Foxx with Benge and the sweet violin of Diana Yukawa. I got very hooked into this after a couple of plays, notes hanging in the air and then decaying. Kind of reminiscent of Eno's Discreet Music album. 5 long instrumental tracks over 50 minutes. Highly recommended.

Otherwise:

V/A - Neu Decade

The Cure - The Head On The Door
The Durutti Column - Bread & Circuses
New Model Army - No Rest For The Wicked
New Order - Low-life
New Order - "The Perfect Kiss" and "Sub-culture" 12" singles
The Sisters of Mercy - First & Last & Always
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Kicking Against The Pricks
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Your Funeral ... My Trial
Depeche Mode - Black Celebration
The Durutti Column - Greetings Three EP
Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Liverpool
Peter Gabriel - So
Happy Mondays - Peel Session 1.4.1986
The Housemartins - London 0, Hull 4
James - Stutter
The Mission - The First Chapter
New Order - "Shellshock", "State Of The Nation", "Bizarre Love Triangle" 12" singles
