Richard Dawson - The Magic Bridge. On the way home yesterday I'd been hoping Peasant had arrived to start the weekend off with a new album - but it hadn't. So started the evening with the wonderful Magic Bridge album instead. There are good reviews of Peasant on the Guardian and Quietus. The Guardian's has a caveat prog-warning and says some of it is hard work. The reviewer didn't mention members of Blown Out and Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs appear on the album. Putting two and two together - can't wait for this!

The first, eponymous album by Picchio Dal Pozzo. Italian Canterburyesque prog with RIO influences, dedicated to one Roberto Viatti (whether he was listening or not, I don't know). https://youtube.com/watch?v=nCRiALrDhj0

Motörhead - Overkill (2007 version) Got back to the office after a 12 hour charity sleep-out - tired & wet. This song, headphones, volume and I felt much better. "Only Way To Feel The Noise Is When It's Good & Loud!"
