Yowza! This week has been mostly....

John Foxx and Louie Gordon - Crash and Burn/ Sideways
Bought the deluxe editions from the annual John Foxx christmas clear out super cheap a few year back, not played em' much, but out and about in the sunshine,
they have been a great soundtrack. No-one quite does electropop like ole' Foxxy. Guess I'd consider these albums more EBM than the earlier stuff but enjoyable non the less.

SFA - Radiator
My second fav SFA record. I like most of their output, but for me, it was diminishing returns after the first two albums, and their popularity grew, if I'm honest. Radiator - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GStpfcmxT8

Robert Ashley - Automatic Writing
Apparently this was a big influence on my fav Nurse With Wound album 'Spiral Insana', and listening back, I can see that. Lovely bit of ambient word interplay. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RMZSU07gts

Coil - Megalithomania (Live Conway Hall 2002)
Found an old programme of the event whilst rooting about and it reminded me I'd not played this piece of ambient weirdness in quite some time. I remember it being quite a strange and subdued live performance.
I've since read that Sleazy and Jhonn were on the cusp of their final break up, and things were tense between them to say the least. It's basically a 40 minute rendition of 'The Universe Is A Haunted House', but with other samples etc, and renamed 'Drip Drip'.
Also remember Mount Vernons Astral Temple playing too, was a great day.

Mission Of Burma - On Off On
Rattling great comeback record from the early 2000's

Sonic Youth - Washing Machine
Not one that gets a spin that often these days, but enjoyable enough when it does.Gotta be in the right mood for the Diamond Sea though, it does go on a bit. WM -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wPPhifmRoA

Julian Cope - Followers Of...
Do enjoy this mid career cobbled together comp. Full of great B-sides, covers and those 80's 12"/extended mixes. 'Warwick The Kingmaker' is still one of my fav' Cope tracks. Warwick - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXqEr7tOi_k
Shot Down (Live) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WI4vRBb7a6I
Non Alignment Pact - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML6WiKiywek

Watched a crappy buddy cop film called 'War on Everyone' the other day, It's an OK film, bit like Nice Guys, but this one song used in the soundtrack blew me away.... Catherine Spaak - Non รจ niente (1964)

Anyhow, have a great (short) break y'all
