Goodness me, looks like Cope has been busy. Had to stop digging around after a while as my head was spinning. Looking forward to the book more than ever.

Has there been any mention of the 131-related made-up bands anywhere other than this site? It would be nice to hear that the grass roots campaign had...taken root.

Belated thanks for this too - I didn't have the 2 Brits Abroad tracks so this was timely and much appreciated. Channeling John Cooper Clarke somewhat but definitely a wee bit bagged out, ken!

I would say at the moment, apart from the odd re-tweet and someone using the user name 'Dayglo Maradona*' to post on a football forum, there does not appear to be any grass-root coverage. Shit, we only found the tracks out of a combination of curiosity, gut instinct and luck and we're probably the ones with the most knowledge/insight outside Cope's immediate circle and Faber&Faber. Still, we didn't do bad in this post-Drudion environment (even if most of us cottoned on too late to pick up on the Brits Abroad tracks in time and even then, the clues were in last December's bloody Drudion)..... *though whether or not this is a direct reference or coincidental pun is unclear
