I've set up a bandcamp collections page - some familiar names were recommended as other fans to follow! https://bandcamp.com/riverman

Two bands that stood out at Montreal Psych Fest... Atsuko Chiba shades of Floyd / Post rock - stunning live http://atsukochiba.bandcamp.com/album/animalia-several-states-of-being Walrus- Pretty standard psych pop, but I loved their set (coming down on mushrooms) at 5 am http://walrustheband.bandcamp.com/album/soft-hands Hellenica - post rock solo guitar stuff. also played the fest - http://hellenica.bandcamp.com/

But, if we don't self promote, we'll never be heard.

Funny how we accept constant marketing 'at' us, every day. Much of it bombardment for mediocre pap. And pretty much all of it irrelevant or less considered than sounds we make ourselves. Yet, given a platform - like here, on a specialist forum, we're all apologies for "shameless self promotion". We're all so bloody polite, aren't we?
