No, but I guess that places like this are today's equivalent. Don't get me wrong, I still like going to record shops but I've made more friends through this place and the Wire site than I ever did in a record shop.

Of course, not so many kids appear to be as into music these days as they were - a generalisation I know but that appears to be the case to me - so I guess their equivalent is playing games on-line and chatting as they shoot 'people' : (
