Hatfield and the North I always imagined was the Severn near Newport for some reason. But in fact it is 'The real North' of Reykjavik. The Pink sky is a conflation of a frieze by Signorelli. I think this was a 1973 trip by Laurie Allan and Paul Misso perhaps to catch a volcanic activity. The latter was the photo taker of the Glastonbury triple LP cover, which in itself is a great Barney masterpiece.
