I fink Mr Bellamy is very good. But I suspect I'm in the minority around here.

Funny how it is the "populist" bands and musicians that most divide this forum!

My wife once spent an afternoon watching a spider eat a wasp, with the helpful advice from one of the kids about how the spider was softening up the wasp gizzards by injecting some kind of spidergunk into them before sucking them up through a straw. She seemed quite happy with the outcome of spiders 1 wasps 0.
2 days later a bee was trapped by the same spider and I had to bravely rescue the bee and escort the spider off the premises.
As far as I know at no time were any of us on acid, though I cannot truthfully vouch for the spider, wasp or bee.

if the spiders got big enough would they not just end up like dogs, cute n hairy with slightly more legs but less of a tendency to yap?

The only problem would be some eejit on a sink estate would end up breeding some kind of doberman spider to look hard with

That's more like it!

I can relate a spider story. We had one in our ground floor flat years back. There we were brushing our teeth in the bathroom before bed when the spider was spotted creeping up our brightly painted orange wall (it did look good, honest). Rather than flick it into the sick and tsunami it down the pipe system we did the decent thing and popped a glass over it, bit of card under it. Mrs Lonesome took it to the front door, I followed. Out into the communal hallway we went. I opened up the main front door as she knelt down to free the eight legged creeping machine. At that point the door to our flat slammed shut. Guess who had a key? That's right, neither of us. Guess who was dressed in just a t-shirt and pants? Yep, that's right, the both of us. Buggeration!! We ended up knocking on the door of our neighbours above and kipping the night on their sofa bed until we could ring the estate agents the next morning to come along with their spare key. The morale of the story - never help out a spider - or, always have a key in your hand when freeing a spider......

No acid was involved.

I was once stung on my finger by an evil wasp at the same time as I was being attacked by a butting deer who was after the french stick poking out my picnic bag. Not a great day.

Yes, and they say 'he even beat Freddie Mercury or Bono'.

Wow.

I mean really. Wow.

I think he is much better than silly Bono with his high heels and daft, I’m the new Messiah trip. Freddie was a creepy fucker of the highest order and Queen were rubbish. None of these bands were what I would call rock n' roll, just 80's mainstream pop awkwardness.

Shame the cocaine rules Liam's world, it's the one thing that ruins his credibility and makes him a midless thug.

I think he is a good front man and he is a rock star.

One is dead. The other is brain dead. I suppose there is a similarity.

I bet you wouldn't say that to our Kids face! I know I wouldn't, infact I doubt Elvis would if he were alive.

Hey, I don't mind him.

Don't like his music much, but something about him kinda sweet, in a way.

Not a total bastard, just a bit of a fool at times, think it's good to keep that in perspective.

Nah I wouldn't, but I'm a gurly coward! Actually, odd as it may seem I reckon I'd probably get on alright with Liam if I were to meet him in the flesh. Not sure why, just a hunch.

Yep I agree and you have put that rather well. Lets not forget, women seem to fall at his feet regardless of his alpha male bullshit.
