Scarily, I have got 6 of these albums on my shelves...
I will add that the wife bought most of them - except Verve and Sade...

Quite liked the La Roux singles but I find her voice goes through me a bit. Probably an album I might get when I see it for £3 in Fopp (which I'm sure I will).

My mate's daughter has got the Little Boots album - that seemed to be very 'meh'.

Mind you, in my universe, all these nouveaux electro quirk pop artistes are over shadowed by the colossal pop perfection of Robyn's eponymous 2007 album. It manages to combine instant pop thrills with a substance that keeps one coming back for more. Kylie's "Body Language" album is also a properly good electro-pop gem, ahead of the zeitgeist (probaby a bit too much as it turned out) and full of top tunes and sexy cyber-production.

BRITs Album of 30 Years
Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head
Dido - No Angel
Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms
Duffy - Rockferry
Keane - Hopes & Fears
Oasis - (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?
Phil Collins - No Jacket Required
Sade - Diamond Life
The Verve - Urban Hymns
Travis - The Man Who

Fuck OFF!!!!

The Oasis and Verve albums have some appeal in my pod but in general that list is World of Beige made manifest. It'd be like hitchhiking and getting picked up by a motivational speaker sales rep in a Ford Mondeo on his way to give a PowerPoint presentation at the Bracknell branch of his company on Blue Sky thinking and him saying "There's some CD's in the glove compartment if you'd like some music on"
