Yeah I've heard the whole gig - used to have a copy of it on DVD but the sound waved in and out so couldn't get to grips with it. The version of Heroes is OK but still don't think any live version has ever captured the greatness of the album version. Happy new year too!! 8)

Not gonna be anything that hasn't already been mentioned, but something like: The Man Who Sold The World Changes Ziggy Stardust Rock & Roll Suicide Life On Mars? The Jean Genie Drive In Saturday Station To Station Breaking Glass Sound And Vision Warszawa (my favourite of the lot) Weeping Wall Some Are All Saints Joe The Lion Sons of the Silent Age Sense of Doubt Neukoln Yassassin (Long Live) Ashes To Ashes prefer Iggy's version of China Girl. Don't like anything off Young Americans.

Just had the Heroes album on in the car driving down the motorway with snow coming down. Good listening experience.....3 things that struck me listening to it again... 1, Think the title track has a real tension that builds up with the passion breaking through when he reaches the 'Standing by the Wall' line. You almost feel like throwing him a towel when the track is over. 2, V-2 Schnieder - very glam rock sounding and not thought about the song in that way previously. 3, Neukoln - Used to think it sounded like someone strangling a goose but it's the one that I always go back to and is possibly my favourite Bowie track. 8)

Yes indeed, about the build up in "Heroes". That whole album is ethereal driving music. Hope you made it safely on your excursion Dave. Have a good week. x
