Ah! Got yah! Silly me. Only heard bits n bobs a lot of which sounded a lot like QOTSA with Dave Grohl on drums....er...which they've done before. I deffo wanna hear the thing if only cos I'm glad that John Paul Jones has got out the producers chair and is playing in a band again. I expect it will be good but not as earth-shattering as many people want it to be.

yup, sounds like QOTSA, gets much better towards the end,the first 5 tracks are mid paced rockers pretty much like the track they released early, after that it gets better, ocassional Bowie like flashes, could do with Mark Lanegan on vox, or anyone with a bit more character than Josh Homme. Unlikely to excite many here, too mainstream rock for most, certainly sounds nothing like Zep, if you like QOTSA worth checking out. ps my eldest thinks it's the canines gonads, better than Kyuss according to him, still it's nice to know that he has some taste

Saw the vultures on TV, if I didn't realise a member of Led Zeppelin was in the band I would have switched over. The singer should concentrate either on playing his guitar or singing, not both.

hit the nail on the head, the cd is the same, if they had got Mark Lanegan in this could have been a masterpiece
