Got the first three CDs when they first came out, thought the first volume was a killer compilation, but for me the other two were pretty average in comparison with a smattering of strong tracks. So on the strength of the volumes 2 and 3 I'm not sure I'd be busting a gut to hear volumes 4 and 5, and even then i'm not sure if these later volumes will be available separately anyway? Certainly interested in hearing your take on them when they are released though :) edit: forgot you'd posted track-lists, had a look and turns out I've already got alot of volume 4 already so that probably wouldn't be worth my while, but only got the July track from volume 5

it is a nice set from back in the 90's but really is a mish mash, some freakbeat, some pysch, some progressive, some protoprog, some of the label specific comps for Deram, Vertigo, etc do a better job nowadays

Is on my want list but not near the top. I'm sure it'll end up in my collection sooner or later though.

Judging by the track lists, it's a good set, but I already own over half of the tracks on other comps - there seems to be quite a bit of overlap with both Decca's "The Psychedelic Scene" and "Nuggets 2", for instance - so I'm not sure if there's enough unfamiliar stuff on there for me to warrant shelling out for a 5CD box.
