Mississippi John Hurt – very gentle blues, as tipped off here a week or two ago. Sibylle Baier – her only lp of gentle European hausfrau blues. Kirsty MacColl, Wild Swans and Skyray Mind Lagoons for driving family to the beach. Water getting a bit chilly here so had to go down to the posh Coronado in San Diego for a warm swim yesterday.

Black Sabbath - Sabotage You just have to once in a while. Korpiklaani - Karkelo Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! David Sylvian - Brilliant Trees / Blemish / Flux & Mutability After reading the DS thread here. Camel - S/T / Mirage / Nude Still loving this lot. Very summery I find. Hatfield and the North - The Rotters Club Enjoying this right from the off, unlike the S/T one which took me months. Jo Jo Gunne - S/T Run Run Run is a complete classic. Not sure yet about the rest of the album yet.

I got that as a single, a very, very long time ago. When it was on TOTP, in fact. I never heard anything else by them, though. "Well, welcome to the party, we're all just papers in the wind."

It was one of the first singles I bought, IIRC. It still sounds great, especially without the scratches my old single now sports! And played loud, of course.
