Hoorahh...think it's their 25th or 26th LP too. They get less popular with every album which is a sign that they're heading down the right road.
If it's anything like 'sunlight to blue - blue to blackness' then we're onto another winner.
Nice title too - always rely on Vini to cheer up us....

Yeah, good on him. I usually get along to see him, always worth it. Barbican show a couple of months ago was nice.

I love Durutti Column ... but this music makes me feel so sad, It makes it hard to listen to. Vini Reilly is one of the great unsung guitar players... I had a chat with him once, a lovely man.

I get the feeling that the person who typed in the credits on Cerysmatic Factory had their mind on the porno starlet - if you look on the actual band website you'll see that the girl on the cover is Vini's girlfriend and she is Poppy Roberts.
Poppy Morgan is married to a Mr Morgan and is not the woman in The Durutti Column.

Poppy is credited as Poppy Morgan on the previous Durutti albums. Maybe that's her real name but she changed it to Roberts after finding out that a google search

Just would like to clear up this whole Poppy Roberts / Poppy Morgan confusion...
Poppy Roberts sang vocals on the Durutti Column album 'Idiot Savants'.
Poppy Morgan is Vini Reilly's new girlfriend who plays piano on and co-writes songs (some of which appear on the forthcoming album 'Love in the Time of Recession') with Vini. She is not the same person as Poppy Roberts. It is Poppy Morgan who appears on the new album cover too.
Moreover, Poppy Morgan is not in any way related to the pornstar mentioned earlier in this thread.
Unfortunately, the press release for the new album calls her Poppy Roberts which doesn't help matters. Let's hope they get it right on the album itself!
