Hmm, difficult despite not going to as many as usual this year...

Saw some great things at the Supersonic festie in Brum, Oren Ambarchi, The Heads, Harvey Milk and Gravetemple particularly.

In the same locale but a million miles away vibe and weatherwise was The Black Sheep busk at Kings Standing on a beautifully crisp snowy morning. An amazing and intimate experience it was too. Huge thanks to everyone involved in making it happen, it really was life affirming stuff !

And finally, Triclops at the Shunt Vaults in London. Fantastic music and visuals in the most interesting venue i've been to in years.

If i had to pick just one i'd go for Gravetemple though. Was initially disappointed that Julian didn't show but the set they played soon wiped that thought from my head. I couldn't stop thinking about what i'd heard heard and witnessed for days afterwards. Stunning, and literally so at times.
