Thanks for the vid. I saw them live this spring, and it was pretty awesome. Definitely more of a party vibe than you'd expect (in front of a crowd, as opposed to this empty record store gig.) Silly video projections help (their first number began with slo-mo clips of Richard Simmons Sweatin' To The Oldies . . . funny!! Lots of really low budget 70's and 80's sci fi clips, etc.)
They sound like Kraftwerk circa 1974, only with a funky early 1990's indie rock rhythm section (all analog electronic keyboard sounds except for the bass & drums -- no guitars never! A little "Canterburyish" actually . . . . )
BMSR has a collection of rare tracks coming out soon, and apparently the "singer" (vocodorist? calls himself "Tobacco") and bassist ("Power Pill Fist") have solo records in the works . . . .
