you heard MIA's "kala" LP? i love it ... seems to mash up a whole load of things w/ some vigour + balls + amount to much more than the sum of its parts ... i wdn't trust anyone who didn't like "boys" on here

other critics favourite from last year = panda bear's "person pitch" is a great great pop rec, altho prob won't be bothering the charts much ... again, it references other things (most obvious being beach boys, in the singing) but really takes 'em somewhere else ... killer cut = "bro's" ... the most uplifting pop thing i heard in years (along w/ "1 thing") ... oh, it;s 13 mins long, but who cares?
