This will probably throw the cat amongst the pigeons a bit, but lets have a positive thread about music for once. What pop music has really made an impression on you in the last few years? Go on, there must be something? It is too easy to dismiss it all as shit because that is not the case. Dance, electonica and pop seem to have blended all into one which can make for some great production. i will start the ball rolling

Gnarls Barkley. I like all of his singles myself, and St Elsewhere. And my god it must have been easy to have been put off by him and the airplay that crazy got. Looking forward to his new stuff

Robyn - Heartbeat. For some reason this really moves me. Really beautiful.

Amerie - One thing. Had a great groove to it. Don't think she has done anything since

The Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby. Dunno why i like this, but i do. Simple hook i guess.

Faithless - Bombs. They have done a lot of great singles ( and a few that aren't quite so good). That one came out at the end of 06 and made quite an impression on me.

Feist - My Moon my man, and 123.

And to finish off, Britney Spears - You wanna piece of me

Hahahahahhahahahhaahhahah, that was a really dangerous thing to do
