Same view here.

I grew up with my older brother and sister's records - I love all the Cream stuff, although I really *can't stand anything* Clapton did later on.

Yes, he did make a very drunken comment about immigration, but he's hardly a 'racist', he's championed black music early on and played with black musicians throughout his life.

I remember reading threads somewhere on this forum, where people would gloat about the tragic death of his little son - now that is REALLY sick.
